High-Pressure Roof Cleaning

Decades of grime, gone in a day.

Adelaide roofs collect lichen on the south faces, dust off the plains, and a slow film of grime that flattens the colour of the whole house. A controlled high-pressure clean strips it back to the original surface — the before/after line as the wash moves across a roof is the most satisfying thing we do.

Cleaning is also the first step of every restoration, and an honest diagnostic: once the grime is off, the roof's true condition shows. We clean with professional equipment at pressures matched to the surface — enough to strip growth, never enough to damage pointing or drive water under laps.

How it goes

  1. 01

    Protect

Openings, vents and sensitive areas managed before the water starts.

  2. 02

    Clean

Methodical passes from ridge to gutter, working with the laps and the fall — never against them.

  3. 03

    Clear

Gutters, valleys and ground cleaned of everything the roof shed.

Straight answers

Will high pressure damage my roof?

Not at the right pressure for the surface — that's the difference between professional equipment with an operator who roofs for a living and a hired machine. Old, fragile pointing is worked around and flagged rather than blasted.

Can I just clean the roof instead of restoring it?

If the surface underneath is in good shape, absolutely — a clean alone transforms the look. If cleaning reveals failing coatings or porous tiles, you'll have photos and a straight recommendation, no pressure.
