Roof Painting & Protective Coatings
Colour is the visible layer. Protection is the point.
Roof paint that lasts is a system, not a colour: the surface has to be clean, sound, and primed with the right base for the material before the membrane goes on. Skip the preparation and the best coating on the market peels in a couple of summers — which is why we don't paint roofs we haven't prepared ourselves.
The coating systems we apply are made for roofs: flexible membranes that handle Adelaide's heat cycles, UV-stable pigments that hold their colour, applied in even wet-film passes to the coverage the manufacturer specifies. The result reads brand-new from the street and shrugs off the weather that dulled the old surface.

Straight answers
How long does roof paint last?
Preparation decides it. A properly prepared and primed roof holds its coating for many years; the products we use carry manufacturer warranties and we'll confirm the specific system and terms on your quote.
Can you paint Colorbond?
Yes — aged Colorbond takes a new membrane system well once cleaned and primed with a metal-compatible base. It's the standard way to bring a faded steel roof back without replacing sound sheets.
Do heat-reflective coatings actually work?
On the right roof, yes — lighter, reflective pigments measurably drop roof-surface temperature, which helps most on uninsulated or west-facing spaces. We'll tell you honestly whether your home would notice the difference.
